Come and spoil yourselves on the beautiful, unspoiled Lizard Peninsula!
The number of visitors to this website is
Lizard Point in Cornwall is the most southerly point in Great Britain. It is famous for the local serpentine stone, a unique rock which is dark green veined with red and white. Serpentine ornaments were particularly fashionable in Victorian times but the village still has several serpentine turners working during the season. There are also craft shops, gift shops and galleries, the Smugglers for fantastic fresh fish and chips, the Witchball, and the famous Anne’s Pasties.
The Trevelyan Holiday Homes site is open for holiday visitors all year round and
is an ideal and affordable base to explore the Lizard Peninsula for families with
young children, keen walkers (with easy access to the South Coast Path), cyclists
(as the peninsula is quite flat!), bird watchers (who may see the Chough at Lizard
Point), and the night skies are dark enough for amateur astronomers to enjoy the
spectacular milky way!
